Quality Guidelines

Our Quality Guidelines All of our information and articles must meet certain quality guidelines before they can be published. Our authors must also meet numerous quality criteria, including neutral and independent reporting. Below, we present our quality standards.

The Quality Standards of Our Editorial Team Our content meets high quality standards and is based on the current state of science at the time of writing. This information is gathered from scientific studies (if available) and medical or nutritional publications, and is supplemented by the knowledge and experience of the authors. If necessary, it is also reviewed by a specialist. Since our content primarily covers holistic medicine and naturopathy, it is reviewed by specialists in these fields, such as specialists in naturopathic medicine and nutritional medicine.

Our editorial team consists of experienced specialists and medical journalists, who thoroughly review all content before publication. If the content concerns health topics, possible causes of diseases, and holistic therapy concepts, it is produced in collaboration with holistic practicing physicians and reviewed by them.

After publication, our articles are no longer regularly updated due to the high volume of content (now over 2500 articles). The reader can determine the relevance of the article by its date. However, we make an effort to keep our articles up to date wherever possible.

We reject plagiarism of any kind and will immediately correct any information found to be false. We uphold human dignity and refrain from discriminatory innuendos in our reporting. Additionally, we report on research results that are in their early stages, but always mention that these results are preliminary and not conclusive. It is essential to us that our texts are reader-friendly and easily understood by everyone, including laypersons in the medical or nutritional fields. To this end, our editorial team reviews our texts to ensure that they are suitable for laypersons and provide benefits to their well-being and health.

Our Editorial Team: Our editorial team is neutral and independent. We do not accept any content-related or journalistic instructions from advertisers and report independently of the advertisements appearing on our site. We fundamentally reject offers that could interfere with the editorial freedom of our team. We report on products if their active ingredients have been proven to be helpful and effective in studies or field reports, as clearly evident in the text. When we recommend certain products, we choose those that meet our high quality standards, including:

  • Sufficiently high active ingredient content
  • Vegan quality
  • Organic quality of raw materials (if available)
  • No unnecessary or harmful additives
  • Gentle processing
  • Regular analysis for possible pollutants
  • Complete and understandable declaration of ingredients
  • Preference for small companies
  • Preference for companies that strive for a climate-friendly manufacturing process.

Even if manufacturers approach us for advertisements or recommendations, we carefully review the products before endorsing them. If the products do not meet our quality criteria, we refuse to accept advertising. As a matter of principle, our editorial staff does not include authors with conflicts of interest. We do not publish guest articles from product manufacturers or distributors and clearly label advertising as such.

Guest articles by external authors reflect their opinions, which may not necessarily align with ours. However, these articles must also meet our quality standards, be written in a neutral and independent manner, and declare any conflicts of interest. The opinions expressed in guest articles are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not represent the views of our editorial team.

In conclusion, our quality standards ensure that the information and articles we provide are reliable, up-to-date, scientifically based, reader-friendly, and written in a neutral and independent manner. We are committed to providing accurate and trustworthy information and upholding the highest standards of journalism and editorial independence
